Bryan | Owner, Captain
Captain Bryan grew up on the shores of Yorktown, Virginia, where his love for the water began early, sailing and exploring the York River and Chesapeake Bay. He went on to study Marine Biology at UNC Wilmington, further deepening his connection to the sea.
With over 20 years of experience and a 100-ton USCG Master License, Bryan has spent decades working on the water and it all started right here in Manteo. The Outer Banks is where he launched his career, and he’s excited to return with Native Island Sailing, bringing a fresh, sustainable charter experience to a place that has always felt like home.
He looks forward to welcoming guests aboard and sharing the beauty and calm of the Roanoke Sound.
